SALES FOR THIS EVENT HAVE ENDED BUT WE WILL CAMP AGAIN IN SPRING!!!
Our camping trip kicks off again this October. Join us on October 22nd-23rd for one of the most popular rides of the year as we ride out to Rockmart Georgia for an evening of bonfires, beers, food, and fun. Fully catered, and fully supported all you have to do is enjoy the scenery as you pedal along the Silver Comet trail.
How does it work?
Meet 8 am Saturday, October 22nd
Load all your camping gear into the support vehicle
Set off for Rockmart!
Stop halfway for a lunch refuel
Arrive at Rockmart for refreshments, home made pasta, bonfires, and s’mores. Vegetarian options available as well!
Spend the evening outside with amazing people!
Wake up the next day for breakfast and then ride home.
This will be a 40 mile ride both ways, but don’t feel overwhelmed because it’s on a flat path and at a casual no drop pace. We make sure everyone gets there! Though we do suggest only doing this distance if you have done at least 10-20 miles before.
We will start off in the morning stopping for lunch halfway, then continue on all the while enjoying the beautiful Silver Comet Trail. As we pedal along, this one upon a time train line will carry you through the gorgeous natural vistas of the Georgia woods. Arriving late afternoon we will set up our tents right away so that we can get down to the real business, happy hour! Mulled wine, beer, snacks, cornhole, and other activities will keep us entertained while our home cooked rigatoni alla pugliese is being prepared. We will cap of the night with s’mores, fires, and a movie before heading to bed. The next morning we will wake to a full breakfast, then pack up and hit the trail in order to mosey our way on home.
Necessary details for meeting locations and ride information will be emailed two weeks before event along with requests for dietary restrictions.
NOTE: Please ride safely and adhere to all normal traffic laws as they apply to bicycles. Please where helmets, bring lights, and exercise caution at all time. These routes are on active roads so ride at your own risk and always be wary of other cyclists and drivers on the road. Thank you and good riding!!
