A perennial festival favorite, Mash 2 Brash is a regular Wednesday morning ride originally started by Toecutters. It starts at Grant Park and cruises up through Northwest Atlanta and stops at Brash Coffee at Westside Provisions District on Howell Mill for coffee and biscuits!. This no drop ride is at a moderate pace normally averaging about 13-14mph and includes some fun but steep hills where riders will normally race though sprinting them is optional! We will mass up after each hill and after coffee and biscuits a group will ride back to Grant Park where the start point is.
You will have the opportunity to purchase an egg/cheese biscuit, egg/cheese/bacon biscuit for $8.50, cash, Paypal, and Venmo accepted. There are also pastries available at Brash and Donuts within walking distance at Five Daughters
IMPORTANT NOTES:
There will be an A (13-14mph) Group and B (10-12mph) group for this ride.
This route does ride on some industrial two lane roads, please remain in the right lane and only in one lane unless otherwise indicated by the ride leader.
Please be aware that at the bottom of the descent on Marietta near King Plow the road can be very rough on the right side of the lane. Also be aware that on the Gun Club Descent at the bottom there is a sharp left turn. Ride leaders will remind attendees of this before the ride.
Though it will get light quickly, lights are required for the beginning of the ride.
